Web Server
ServerWatcher has a built in web server in case you need to check in on things remotely. By default it is off but you can choose the port you want to run it on and turn it on in the Prefs tab. There is only one page. Go to http://localhost:8081/status Obviously you'll need to change the domain name and port numbers to match your computer and the port your chose but by default that should work.
Make sure you choose a port that is accessible through your firewall
If you don't already have a domain name pointed to the computer you're testing on and the comuter is accessible to the outside world you might want to check out one of the free services like DynDns.org. Obviously exposing your computer to the internet is a dangerous thing to do unless you've blocked off all unneeded ports in your firewall(s).

Note that it's displaying the recepients for each server. That way if one is down you'll be able to easily tell who should have gotten notices. Remember AIM and Yahoo users may or may not have been online when it was noticed as being down. In that case an AIM user would never get it but a Yahoo Messenger would get it when they eventually signed on again.
